Konstantin Samofalov, a member of the Board of Directors of the Direction Europe Foundation, attended the congress of the Social Democratic Party of Austria in Vienna.

On that occasion, he met with numerous officials of the Social Democratic Party of Austria, including party leader and Austrian Vice-Chancellor Andreas Babler, President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Petra Bayr, members of the Austrian Parliament and the European Parliament, as well as representatives of the partner Renner Institute.

From Vienna, it was emphasized that the democratization of Serbia and bringing European integration back into focus are among the key priorities of Austrian foreign policy toward Serbia, and that cooperation among pro-European and social democratic forces is essential to achieving these goals.

The Direction Europe Foundation will be a reliable partner to its Austrian friends in strengthening European values and stopping Serbia’s further drift away from the European path.
